DIY High Waisted Shorts

Even though it isn't summer, it is never too early to start making shorts for the summertime! High waisted are a super easy and cheap way to be fashionable and comfortable during summer. Simply go to your local thrift stop to find the jeans. Look for "mom jeans", that have a long zipper in the front. Try on the shorts, and make sure they fit... but don't be scared if they look weird! One you get home, put the jeans on again, and mark with the pencil a line where you want to cut the jeans. To start off, cut longer than usual, because you can always cut off more if it is too long, but you can never add fabric after already cutting it off!! And seriously, you are done there!! If you want a more distressed look, you can easily YouTube or google how to distress the shorts. Usually jeans are about $2 at thrift shops, so this is a much alternative than the $60 shorts at Urban Outfitters!

Camouflage Pants!!

Just the other day I FINALLY bought camo leggings from Brandy Melville! I have been eyeing them for the longest time, and I am so happy I finally bought them. My only hesitation with buying them is I am not exactly sure how to wear them/what to wear them with. But, I have come to realize that any neutral colors look great with the pants! As long as you have a simple basic top, and make the pants the focal point, you are good to go! Just make sure not to wear a neon orange tank with the pants... more like a cream sweater, or black tank top! I cannot wait to start wearing my leggings!

If you have need any fashion tips or any help, COMMENT!! :)

Studded Sweaters

I have recently been seeing these sweaters, and I'm in love!! A couple weeks ago I was at LF, and saw a studded sweater for about $150. It was amazingly soft and comfortable, good quality, and with studs on the shoulders.  These pictures are from tumblr, and I have honestly been seeing studded sweaters all over the place! I think this white/cream colored sweater plus burgundy skinny jeans=perfection. I also saw a picture of Britney Spears wearing the LF sweater, over a white colared shirt, and it was adorable! I know Topshop and Urban Outfitters sell almost identical sweaters, but they are also pretty pricey as well... I have been looking around for some cheaper sweaters, but haven't really found any studded ones I love yet. But, to save money, I could just do a DIY and just buy studs and put them on a sweater I already own...
